lyrics

Spittle

Little spittle on my lip.
Trip and stumble, then I slip.
Love my life as a drunk,
I tell you slurring, as I slump.

Giggle at me, as I do.
Wiggle, hump legs, it’s a coup.
Tired of the drunk is shown,
As he sit there, again, alone.

So many nights and days are wasted.
Out of my mind, so sad this case is.
Smart enough to see the way out.
It’s a shame, sham, what this is about.

If we did have our druthers.
Asking help, mothers… Brothers.
Instead we play Dr. Seuss.
Playing smart, it’s all a rouse.

There is an end to this life’s tale.
We hope it’s not the coffins nail.
The end right now is not in sight.
We all hope it ends up alright.
